CAN YOU BELIEVE IT,
FINN IS ALMOST TWO!
Finn's favourite food is chicken, and he loves anything from McDonalds. I don't let him have fast food very often because he is only 6 pounds and I don't want him to get fat. The vet told me that he is a perfect weight right now. She said she could feel his ribs but not too much. If he stays the weight he his, she said he will be very healthy. So I try just to give him his dog food and some chicken.
Finn loves going to school. He has made lots of friends, and at recess they like to play. When he gets home he shows me his new tricks.
Finn has learned to chase a frisbee and bring it back. But he loves to tease. When I get close enough to retrieve the frisbee from his teeth, he usually turns and runs away. But he only runs a couple of feet. He really wants me to grab his favourite turquoise and lime green toy from his grip so I can throw it again. He quickly chases his toy into the bushes or up and down hills. Finn is a fast runner.
One day he came out of the shrubs covered in burrs. That was a bad day for us. He was scratching to get the prickly burrs out of his fur and out of the pads on his little feet. Ouch! We finally had to get some scissors and very carefully cut the nasty things from his fur. He is all back to normal again.
Finn fills his backpack with treats and toys every morning. He can't wait to learn knew things at school. Finn jumps up on his teacher as soon as he arrives to let her know how excited he is. Then, after he says hello to all his friends, he goes over to his matt and listens carefully to his teachers instructions.
What have all of you been up to? I'd love to hear about your pets and their tricks. Include a picture if you want. I love looking at pets of all shapes, kinds and sizes. And please let me know your pet's name and what you like best about him or her.
